  • Pre-golf meeting:  8:30am at the club house…meet your assigned foursome, group photo, and then head to your assigned tee box.
  • Tee Box:  9:00am modified shotgun start. Foursomes are assigned to start at a specific hole, so that we all start and finish at the same time.
  • Lunch: Doors open at 1:00pm with lunch served at 1:30pm, followed by awards.
  • Awards: Each participant will receive a special NLGA gift Awards, drawings, and prizes will be presented following lunch.

Format: SCRAMBLE with a modified SHOTGUN start. The four-golfer scramble features teams of four players competing against one another. In this format, each team's players hit from the tee box, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains that format for all 18 holes.

A prime advantage of a scramble is it allows players of all abilities to contribute to the team's success and helps speed play. Golfers who are new to the format can quickly learn the rules and terminology. Each foursome will include a mix of current members, new members, NLGA board members, high handicap, low handicap… and everyone will have fun! Each team member must have at least three tee box drives counted for the team at some point in the round. Players must play in their assigned tee time with their “team for the day.”

Social Details: Lunch menu will be a Trio of Super Salads (Grilled Chicken Caesar, Asian with Chicken on the side, and Rotelli Pasta) served with rolls, fruit, cookies, and lemonade. A drink ticket will be provided for one complimentary wine, beer, or soda. Additional beverages can be purchased with CASH ONLY for $6 wine/beer or $1 soda.  Cost is $24 with online reservations as part of the special event registration.
